Description
Complete demolition of the existing brick and installation of a Tyvek air barrier and 3M membrane
During the demolition, we discovered that a portion of the wooden structure was missing +- 15ft x 12ft.
The existing rubble foundation was very crumbly, and therefore unsuitable for the reconstruction of the new brick wall.
We therefore installed temporary supports, removed sections of crumbly rubble, then poured these sections with reinforced concrete. Certain rotten hemlock planks were replaced with LVL type engineered wood
The missing portion was rebuilt according to the CNCB in dry spruce wood.
